Learning and managing geometry has long been a complex hurdle for blind and visually impaired students due to two-dimensional graphics and figures that have historically been inaccessible to screen readers. EasyGeometry is born to solve this problem in a.
How does the application work?
EasyGeometry is not a mere collection of texts, but an interactive tool fully optimized for speech synthesis:
- Immediate Formulas: By selecting a geometric shape within the program, the user instantly receives the mathematical formula related to that specific figure, simplifying the study and calculation of areas, perimeters, and properties.
- Graphics Readable by VoiceOver: The true technical innovation lies in its visual accessibility: when a shape is selected, the Mac screen reader (VoiceOver) is able to read and interpret the graphic trend and the structure of the shape itself.
